Oval Quicklink

Oval Quiclink is an oval-section, high-carbon and high-tensile baling wire developed for tying paper, cardboard, plastic and other pressed recyclable materials.

Its high-tensile structure can carry the same breaking load with a smaller cross-section than conventional low-carbon wires. Compared with conventional low-carbon round baling wires of equivalent breaking load, Oval Quiclink can reduce steel consumption per bale by up to 25%. This means lower cost, lighter coils and a smaller carbon footprint per ton baled.

The oval geometry makes the reduced cross-section easier to use. Bending resistance drops significantly with thickness, so the wire is coiled and bent with minimal springback. The result is tighter bales and a flat, balanced lock that does not twist under tension. The wide contact surface spreads contact pressure, leaving fewer marks on soft materials and seating properly in the press channels.
