about burmetal

Wire Built for the Performance the Job Demands

In the sectors we serve, wire is not an ordinary raw material sitting at the back of the warehouse; it is a critical component that determines whether a bale stays intact, whether a production line runs without interruption and whether a load reaches its destination undamaged. A tie wire that breaks during transport causes losses far greater than the cost of the wire itself. This is the understanding that defines our production standards.

Burmetal produces steel wire and baling wires at its facility in the Denizli Organized Industrial Zone. It has an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of high-tensile steel wire. It supplies recycling facilities, packaging operations, industrial manufacturers, the agricultural sector and distributors in Türkiye, as well as export markets across Europe, Africa and Asia.

WHAT WE PRODUCE

QUICLINK BALE TIES

High-carbon, high-tensile bale ties with a pre-formed loop and hook locking system, in oval and round profiles. The oval profile provides minimum steel use per bale, while the round profile offers higher elongation. Retail pack options are also available for stores and low-volume buyers.

SINGLE-LOOP AND DOUBLE-LOOP BALING WIRES

Annealed, low-carbon, soft and highly ductile tie wires produced for vertical and closed-end horizontal balers.

GALVANIZED AND BRIGHT DRAWN WIRES

High-strength steel wires with tensile strength up to 1800 MPa for agriculture, wire mesh production, recycling, industrial packaging and general tying applications.

ROSETTE COILS

Coils wound for automatic balers, containing continuous wire of up to 1 ton.

CUSTOM INDUSTRIAL WIRES

Diameter, tensile strength class, surface coating, cut length and packaging specifications are produced according to customer specifications.

HOW WE WORK

A SINGLE PRODUCTION CHAIN, UNDER ONE ROOF

Wire drawing, galvanizing, phosphating and finishing processes are all carried out on our own production lines. No subcontracting is used in any of the critical processes. This lets us ensure consistent coil-to-coil quality and offer realistic delivery times.

NOT THE CLOSEST PRODUCT, BUT THE RIGHT ONE

Every application places different loads on the wire. That is why, instead of simply shipping a standard product, we determine the suitable product by evaluating the baled material, the machine used and the storage and shipping conditions.

QUALITY CONTROL THROUGHOUT PRODUCTION

Criteria such as diameter, tensile-strength properties, elongation, coating weight and coating adhesion are checked on samples taken throughout production. Each batch is traceable down to the wire rod source used.

PLANNED PRODUCTION, ON-TIME DELIVERY

Production capacity is planned according to committed orders. This way, continuous orders are shipped on time while production capacity can also be reserved for special and short production runs.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT THAT CONTINUES AFTER THE ORDER

From defining the product specification to the first production process and beyond, our technical team continues to support our customers.
