Quicklink

Quiclink is a baling wire with a pre-formed loop and hook system that closes a bale quickly and securely. It requires no twisting tools or knotting.

The wires are made from high-carbon steel reaching tensile strengths of up to 1600 N/mm², while retaining the elongation needed to absorb bale expansion after the press is opened. This delivers high strength without creating brittleness.

The combination of these properties keeps pressed recycling materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic, foam and rubber securely bound throughout handling, transport and storage.

Surface Options

Quiclink is compatible with vertical and horizontal balers and, with a wide range of wire diameters and cut lengths, is offered in round and oval profiles with the following surface options:

• Galvanized — zinc coating for outdoor storage, humid environments and long shipments
• Zinc phosphate coated — a lubricated surface for smooth feeding and light corrosion protection
• Bright (uncoated) — a plain drawn surface for dry indoor use and the lowest cost per bale
